A local Christian radio commentator asked a thought-provoking question. “Are you a believer or are you a follower?” What is the first word that comes to your mind?” Most people answered, “Believer.”

Many say they believe but they are not following. Believers must become followers! When Jesus first called His disciples He said, “Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men.” We need to get to the point were we can say, “I am a follower of Jesus Christ.”

As followers of Jesus we must first aspire to be like Him; we need to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him daily.

Jesus came to seek and save those who were lost. True followers of Jesus want to see people come to know the One they are following!

Billy Graham says, “Evangelize, and use words only when you have to.” God has placed each one of us into various spears of influence, where we can shine and be as salt!

I ask you, “Are you a believer or a follower?”
